A Transition of Time

What will come..will come

So, want it or not, the good and the bad have to be celebrated equally happy (maybe this is not an honest line from me)

When everyone supposed to be going for the 2010 New Year countdown, just guess where am I?
Funeral.

Sadly, my cousin’s father-in-law has peacefully departed to the after world.

My relationship with the dead and alive wasn’t close. But actually I really choose to attend that than a New Year countdown for many reasons..

Firstly, I am sure not much will be attending the funeral since it’s a big day for many.
Secondly, New Year is just a day in another year. No big deal.

Anyway, I seriously enjoyed myself looking at the procession as well as folding joss paper there.

It has been a long time after I went off to Cendana. But of course I don’t expect to do this often.

I went back at 10pm.

Looking at the remaining time, I thought if I can still make it to meet my high school friends which have asked me to meet them in a rented apartment to celebrate New Year.

Rush back. Throw some food into my bag. Grab some firecrackers. Change into a better outfit. And Go!!

Play cards with them. Win few rounds. But mostly, we were chit-chatting.

As we entered 2010, we rush out and release some fireworks.

All the residents put their heads out looking at us.

Feeling so embarrassed with that unneeded attention, we went in.

Continue playing until almost 1am before I decided to go back as I need to pack my stuff.

For New Year morning went to find Boon Wue that is working as a promoter.

Helped him to fold the clothes there and even get some customers for him.

Instead of appreciating that, he complained that I add more work for him. I feel bad for the employer who hired this kind of terrible promoter.

Went for a movie with Randy. We look like a gay couple in the cinema =P

I guess that’s the simplest way to welcome New Year.

Most important, I have good times with them before coming back and meet another group of “swt swt” friends in Cendana.
