Auld Lang Syne

With his will and power, I was sick last week.

Thank God and all praises bestowed upon Him that I am recovered now and hopefully will not be traumatized by that again (it’s an infection of bacteria trying to mess with my blood).

But what is so coincident, it was bitterly added with so much of other unforeseen events.

My uncle (I called him ‘papa’) who taken care of me when I am small passed away due to cancer.

I remembered a lot about him during his living days.

He is really a fan of singing and from there I actually know earlier about the oldies he used to sing.

Sadly, I only compiled his favourite music after his departure as I believe maybe that will be one of the fondest memories I can remember about him.

Thanks to him, until today i have never (dare to) use any vulgar word or to even speak any of that type of language.

Thanks to him, I will always have a watch ‘crafted’ on my heart as he always bite our hand when I am small proclaiming that as a gift to us (a watch, said he). Perhaps, it symbolises the principle of punctuality as I had never see him late.

Thanks to him, I will love my religion more and keeping it stronger and faithfully flowing deep in me.

Thanks to him, for all the care and love, though he never obviously show that (he is a Chinese old-styled man) – boh kong cheng type (if you understand)

From the respect, the societies have given to you, I know you are a man with pride and have never turn our family down.

Unofficially, you are the head of us when you leaded grandfather’s business, and we shall endear you forever in this huge family.

I bade farewell with you forever, but the relationship that is built will remain bridging my soul and yours in the after world.

At the same time, it is reminding us a reminded reminder, to love people around us more when we and them still have the time and space.

-Om mani padme Om-

(A very traditional way of Chinese community in setting

up a funeral which I see it more as a tradition to preserve)

Unit 25,

I still remember it was during my time when Unit 25 was under my leadership ( and it's history now), a group suggested for a blog (or website or whatsoever)

I disagreed.

Simply because I have much anticipated that it will be a place for people to attack each other, condemning each other and criticizing the society and members irresponsibly.

However, this people turn their back on me and the blog was created.

Perhaps, as it was not formed with the Unit's agreement, it wasn't popular as nobody publicize for them.

I am not sure if it still exist, but even if it is, it should be remaining as just an ordinary blog for those Unit-lovers to continue spending their old time together

But!!

What I have anticipated in this advanced technology gadget is true enough!!

It happens today.

The unity and cohesion of the society is challenged by certain group of people when we see mouth-of-war going on.

I am not sure why must this happen when we have realized there is already internal conflict within the society

But, what can be more important than being together and keeping the respect between the elders and young ones?

Neither anyone is at blame. We are not pointing fingers here.

But it's time for leaders to sit together and weigh the society's bonding and strength within committees and members again.

I hope the higher authorities will be solving this problem soon.

Hopefully, the next few weeks, we shall see all those Facebook and Blogs comments and post with bad reflection of the society will be cleared of.

But, even if it's not. It's OK.

It just reflects how severe the ties between members/committees and how 'truthful' those leaders are upon their struggle.

FORTIS ATQUE FIDELIS.
Strong and faithful.

(what a nice coffee-break by writing this post after a long period staring at the laptop finishing my issue report)
